Important dispatch and delivery information
To ensure freshness, our chocolates are handcrafted every day. We make our very best effort to ensure that your order is dispatched within 48 hrs* upon receipt of your order (Monday to Wednesday). If your order needs to arrive by a certain date, please let us know and we will prioritise your order. You can leave us a message in the gift message area when you go through the checkout, or you can send us an email once you have placed your order. Our processing time may be longer during the peak seasonal times such as Christmas, Valentines Day and Easter due to the large amount of orders we receive. if you place an order on a Thursday afternoon, Friday or the weekend we will dispatch your order during the following week. We do have the option of a Saturday delivery so if your order is urgent, you can choose this option and if we have enough stock we will do our best to dispatch it for you on a Friday.

All our orders are delivered by courier and we require that you sign for your parcel – if you would like to give us authority to leave your parcel, let us know during the checkout process and advise us of a safe place to leave your chocolates. Please remember that chocolate is perishable, so make sure you have them left away from sun, heat and critters!
Our shipping days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Depending on the temperature (especially in the summer months November through to March if the temperature rises above 25 degrees) we may decide not to ship orders on any given day. We also do not generally dispatch on a Friday, but if you do require your order urgently we do have the option of Saturday delivery at an extra charge just get in touch with us if you would like this service. Our busy oompa loompas do not dispatch on Saturday or Sunday or public holidays.
Delivery to a rural location
Delivery to a rural location will take longer than normal, so please take this into consideration when you place your order. Please also remember that chocolate is a perishable item – most rural deliveries are handed over to your local rural delivery driver, and sometimes it can take an extra 2-4 days to reach your location. It is also very common for your rural driver to sign for your order then hand it over to you. If your rural location means the driver will leave your parcel in a place where you might not get it straight away please tell us so we can take this into consideration when packaging up for you.
Late delivery does not entitle the purchaser to a refund, this will be managed on a case by case basis. We will endeavor to deliver your order on time, but we will not be liable for late delivery for conditions out of our control.
Delivery costs are applied to the order prior to your order being submitted. We use New Zealand couriers, a premium express courier service. We have chosen a premium service so the quality of your chocolates is not compromised and to ensure your parcel arrives to you in tip top condition, the last thing we want and I am sure you will want also is to have your parcel held up at a courier warehouse & melt! Please note these charges do not apply to wholesale customers they are for residential orders only. For wholesale orders freight costs will be added to your order depending on the size of your order.

All orders over $50.00 are delivered free of charge, (excludes wholesale orders) otherwise our costs are as follows:
- Standard Shipping: $10.00
- Christchurch City – NZ$5.00
Delivery within New Zealand
We are experiencing delays with delivery of our orders to residential addresses. Please allow 3-5 business days from time of dispatch for delivery of your chocolates, a dispatch email will be sent when your order has been dispatched. Please remember if you place an order on a Friday or during the weekend, it will not be dispatched till the following week.
To limit the possibility of chocolate melting on your doorstep or in your letter box – if you are unlikely to be at home during the day, we recommend you have your parcel delivered to your work address or an address where someone will be present to receive your parcel.
If you live locally, you can order online and pickup from our factory at 205 Robinsons Road. Once we receive your order we will be in touch with a pick up day / time. If you are local but don’t see the local pickup option it might just mean we need to add in your postcode – please call us or email us and let us know your postcode.
International shipping is not available at this time.
We do take responsibility for parcels lost in transit in New Zealand before they reach your home we don’t always keep an eye on the deliveries so please get in touch with us as soon as possible if you realise your order has not arrived when you had expected it to. We cannot accept responsibility for your parcel once delivery has been signed for.
